The benefits

Here's how we help

Missed deadlines, cost overruns, and litigation shouldn’t be the norm. More than ever, contractors today are threatened by talent shortages, schedule delays, and rising costs.

Unaddressed, these challenges can spiral out of control, stealing your profits and tarnishing reputation.

Rethinking YOur Approach

The construction industry has been faced with its share of challenges over the past few years. Tighter budgets and changing markets have Owners looking for Contractors that can deliver real value by making every dollar count. Many in our industry are being forced to rethink how to approach the work.

Focusing on the Fundamentals

As with any great team, exceptional accomplishments are achieved by focusing on the fundamentals. Point of Curvature believes the fundamentals take place at the crew level where raw materials like concrete and steel are converted into what the Owner and Designer have painstakingly put to paper.

It’s this conversion process that creates the value for which the Owner is looking.

When we talk about operational excellence, we are helping craft your vision of how the work should look at the crew level, helping align high-quality work zones with high-quality crew assignments where every crew can efficiently complete their daily assignment without compromising safety or quality.

Our Process

1. Plan The Work

Before any project is mobilized, we assemble the team to define the best approach to putting the work in place. We help define and coordinate efforts between trades and crew in order to develop high quality crew assignments and ensure the work zone is thoroughly prepared before the crew ever starts the work.

2. Assess The Work

Because it’s so important to start the work correctly, we cannot be satisfied with just a good plan. It is imperative to observe the work and compare it to the plan, taking immediate corrective measures when necessary.

3. Review the Work

When the work activity is completed, we follow up with an “After-Action Review” to ensure what was learned is captured. Feedback from the crew along with video and photos sets the foundation for continuous improvement. The content is added to a library of past work accessible to other teams across the company.
